R.j. Raechel Toorop

Dr. Toorop following the training as general surgeon at the University Hospital Antwerp, St. Vincentius Hospital Antwerp and Máxima Medical Center Veldhoven from 1999-2005. Subsequent fellow vascular surgery and CHIVO vascular surgery at the Máxima Medical Center Veldhoven (2005-2008, trained Dr. M.R.M. Scheltinga). In September 2007 she obtained the European Examination Vascular Surgery in Madrid.

As of 1 June 2008 she is a certified vascular surgeon. In 2008 she was a member of social security surgery Elkerliek Hospital Helmond. As of 1 January 2009 she worked as a staff member of the vascular surgery department at UMC Utrecht. She is a post-graduate vascular surgery. Her areas of interest include kidney transplants, dialysis access surgery, carot surgery and peripheral arterial artery disease.
