Brett Short has over thirty years of experience in healthcare. Nearly twenty of those years have been in healthcare compliance. In addition to being Chief Compliance Officer, Brett is a board member of the Health Care Compliance Association / Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and a faculty for the HCCA Privacy Academy, and a board member on the Compliance Certification Board and test-writing committee.

An outside expert to the Audit and Compliance Committee to the UC Health Board. Experience includes Compliance, Privacy, Clinical Administration in health care as well as a not-for-profit free-clinics board member. Previous experience in health care includes behavioral health, dentistry, substance abuse, rehabilitation, physician practice, hospitals, and health plans.
