Quinn C. Meisinger, MD, is a board-certified interventional radiologist who specializes in image-guided, minimally invasive surgery to treat cancer and a wide range of benign diseases. He specializes in tumor ablation, inferior vena cava (IVC) filter retrieval, prostate artery embolization, and uterine fibroid embolization. Additionally, he treats peripheral arterial and complex venous disease.

Dr. Meisinger is the Director of the Independent and Integrated Interventional Radiology Residencies within the UC San Diego Department of Radiology. In 2018, he was awarded the Outstanding Physician Consultant award by the Department of Urology, the Clinical Teaching award by the Department of Radiology, and the Divisional Teaching award by the Division of Interventional Radiology. In 2020, he was again awarded the Divisional Teaching award and the Whitehill Prize for Excellence by the Academy of Clinician Scholars. His research is focused on geniculate artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, chemical gallbladder sclerosis, and radiation protection.

Dr. Meisinger completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he served as chief fellow. He completed residency training at UC San Diego School of Medicine and earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He is board-certified in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology. Dr. Meisinger is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and Western Angiographic and Interventional Society (WAIS).
