Quan-yang Duh MD

Dr. Quan-Yang Duh specializes in surgery to treat tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, as well as other endocrine and gastrointestinal malignancies. He has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive endocrine surgery.

Duh earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also completed his residency training in surgery and a fellowship in endocrine surgery. He is the past president of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the San Francisco Surgical Society, as well as president of the American College of Surgeons (Northern California chapter). Duh has been a professor at UCSF since 1988 and is listed in the publication Best Doctors in America. He is board certified in surgery.
