Qianwang Chen PhD

Professor Qianwang Chen received his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1995 and was appointed to the faculty of USTC. He worked as a postdoc in the Institute of Hydrothermal Chemistry, Kochi, Japan, Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow in the Solar Energy Institute of Hannover, Germany, and as a visiting researcher in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was appointed as a professor in 2000 at the USTC and was awarded the Cheung Kong Professorship in 2002 by the Ministry of Education of China. His research interests include the synthesis and application of nanoscale materials. He has co-authored over 290 publications in the research field.
