Puneeta Tandon MD, MSc, FRCPC

Dr. Puneeta Tandon (MD, MSc Epidemiology), a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC), is a gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and, since 2007, faculty member at the University of Alberta. She is the founder and co-director of the internationally recognized Cirrhosis Care Clinic and Edmonton co-lead for AsCEND.

Dr. Tandon is an active, frequently published researcher who’s driven by the desire to empower her patients with practical tools for reducing stress and improving well-being. At both the national and international levels, she’s spoken as an expert in the areas of liver disease, nutrition, exercise, and chronic disease symptom management. Dr. Puneeta Tandon is currently appointed as Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, at the University of Alberta.
