Przemyslaw Kosinski MD, PhD

In 2007, he graduated from the Medical Academy in Warsaw, after which he began a postgraduate internship at CSK Banacha, and specialization in gynecology and obstetrics at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Medical University of Warsaw. In 2015, he obtained the title of Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and defended his doctoral thesis, obtaining the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences. In 2017 he obtained the title of Specialist Perinatologist. In 2020, he obtained the degree of doctor habilitated in medical sciences.

For two years he worked in the UK at King's College Hospital and University College Hospital in London. He underwent training under the supervision of Professor Kypros Nicolaides, a pioneer in the field of perinatology in the world. He holds a Diploma in Fetal Medicine issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation.

He is interested in modern fetal echocardiography and performs invasive pregnancy diagnostics, such as amniocentesis, cordocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling. He also deals with complications of multiple pregnancies, including TTTS syndrome (twin transfusion syndrome).

He was the first in Poland to perform fetoscopic fetal tracheal occlusion in diaphragmatic hernia (FETO) and fetoscopic fetal intrauterine intubation.

He completed training in fetal echocardiography at King's College Hospital London (2012), Royal Brompton Hospital London (2012), and Evelina Children Hospital London (2013). He is constantly expanding his knowledge and practical skills at numerous trainings and internships abroad. He participates in many scientific projects in Poland and abroad.
