Dr. P V Kailey graduated from Govt.Medical College , Amritsar ( Punjab ) in the year 1990 .Thereafter he completed his masters training in Orthopedics from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , New Delhi by qualifying National Boards Examination in the year 1995 He completed his Senior Residency in Orthopedics and Joint Replacement at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the year 1998 . He received Johnson & Johnson Arthroplasty Fellowship with Prof. P S Maini , in 2003 while working at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

He was awarded Indo German Orthopedic Foundation Fellowship for advanced Orthopedics and Joint Replacement Surgery training under guidance of Prof . M Wagner at Germany in the year 2004. In 2005 he was awarded visiting fellowship to Queensland University of Technoblogy , Brisbane , Australia for training in Arthroplasty. In 2006 he successfully completed SICOT International Fellowship training .He worked as Consultant in Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from 2003 till 2008 .

His main area of interest and expertise is Mininally Invasive Total Joint Replacement Surgery and Oxford Partial Knee Replacement for which he is one of the few surgeons in India trained and certified by Oxford Knee Group. He now performs one of the highest numbers of such surgeries in India . He is currently the only surgeon in Southeast Asia allowed to perform Signature customised Oxford knee replacement , one of the most advanced surgery currently available .Dr kailey is an approved instructor for Oxford knee replacement surgery and routinely performs live surgery demonstrations both in India and abroad . Surgeons from all over Asia routinely visit him for training in knee and hip replacement surgeries .duly Oxford trained and certified .
