Priyanka Bhateja is a medical oncologist who specializes in treating cancers arising in the head and neck region. More recently, Priyanka Bhateja completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Her approach to cancer care is to partner with her patients at each step in their journey and provide them with information from the latest research to help guide their decisions. Her research is focused on outcomes and toxicity in patients with head and neck cancer. In particular, I’m interested in identifying biomarkers in cancer cells to tailor the care of an individual patient.
In addition to her clinical work, I’m also an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Priyanka Bhateja enjoys the collaborative work culture at the OSUCCC – James and the ability to offer patients access to the latest promising medications through clinical trials. It’s truly a privilege to be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that’s working together to achieve our goal of a cancer-free world.
