Priscilla Christina Olsen Graduated in Microbiology and Immunology at UFRJ (2006), with a master's degree (2007) and doctorate (2011) in Cellular and Molecular Biology at FIOCRUZ. She was a teacher at CEDERJ's Social Pre-Vestibular. She completed a postdoctoral degree at FIOCRUZ in 2013, when she became a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFRJ. She is a permanent professor at the PG in Immunology and Inflammation and PG in Pharmaceutical Sciences and head of the Laboratory of Studies in Immunology at UFRJ. In 2016 she was named a Pew Latin American Fellow, doing postdoctoral work at Rockefeller University. She has experience in the area of ​​immunopharmacology, focusing on the study of therapies for pulmonary inflammatory diseases, allergic, bacterial, and arboviruses, with a special interest in understanding the humoral immune response against flaviviruses and MDR bacteria for the discovery of monoclonal antibodies. She is a member of SBI, the Latin American and Caribbean Association for Immunology (ALACI), ALACI's Women in Immunology, SBPC, and academic editor of Frontiers Immunology and Frontiers Pharmacology. She is an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Young Scientist of Our State (JCNE / FAPERJ), Deputy Head of DACT at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFRJ, and is the mother of Lucas.
