Dr. Jois is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of South Florida Emergency Medicine Residency program (Tampa General Hospital). Dr. Jois completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida and is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine. After completing a residency in emergency medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Dr. Jois pursued a fellowship focusing specifically on cardiovascular emergencies at the Cleveland Clinic. A diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Jois has authored several papers and studies related to cardiovascular emergencies.
Prior to joining USF, Dr. Jois was an assistant professor at the University of Florida Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Gainesville, where she opened UF Health-Shands Hospital's first Chest Pain Evaluation Center and served as its Medical Director. In 2010, she received the UF College of Medicine's Exemplary Teacher Award. Dr. Jois also serves as Captain in the US Air Force Reserves as part of the Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) with the 920th ASTS at Patrick Air Force Base. She enjoys distance running (marathons/half-marathons), spending time with friends and family, and global-trekking in her personal moments away from work.
