Dr. Praveen Aggarwal, MD, DNB, Professor & Head, Department of Emergency Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi, India, is working as a faculty in Emergency Medicine for last 30 years. He was awarded WHO Fellowship in Toxicology in USA. He is the Chief Editor of the Journal of Emergencies, Trauma and Shock, and Vice-President of the Academic College of Emergency Experts in India. His research includes role of commonly available biomarkers in patients with sepsis and acute coronary syndromes so as to study their role with respect to outcome. He has published more than 160 papers in international and national journals, and authored books on Toxicology, Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
