Praveen S. Hiremath PhD

Dr. Hiremath is currently working as a Manager Formulation Development and Pilot Plant at Bayer Healthcare LLC. He has completed Masters and doctoral studies in Pharmaceutics. Dr. Hiremath has worked in Pharmaceutical companies like Pii, Astra Zeneca and Ranbaxy. Also he has Postdoctoral experience in Pharmaceutical drug delivery and formulation from Western University of Health Sciences, California, USA. Dr. Hiremath has published several research articles in peer reviewed international journals; also he has extensively presented his research at international conferences/symposiums. Dr. Hiremath has been an invited speaker and session Chair at international conferences. His areas of specialization include oral drug delivery, Pharmaceutical intellectual property (IP), lipid based drug delivery systems and Pharmaceutical technology. He has been invited to edit books and, write expert review articles in Pharmaceutical formulation and technology. He has authored a Book Chapter on “Dissolution” in Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy, 22nd Edition. Dr. Hiremath served/currently serves on editorial board of Recent Patents on Drug Delivery & Formulation, Journal of Bioequivalence and Bioavailability, Journal of Bioanalysis and Biomedicine and Research in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. He was a Chair Elect for AAiPS (American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists) Washington DC Chapter for 2010-2012 and serves as a member of CRS-PSAH focus group and APT-FG Steering committee.
