Pratima Kumar is an assistant professor at Dell Medical School and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Recently, she joined the Travis County Medical Society Bylaws Committee and remains active in other organizations such as the Texas Medical Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Kumar spends her time teaching for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center residency programs and facilitates for surgery and endocrinology. She also helps with the development of educational materials such as the Endocrinology Mechanism of Disease Curriculum Committee at Dell Med and is involved with Residents’ History Taking Simulation Curriculum Committee for the University of Texas Southwestern. She is committed to both resident teaching and medical student teaching while also presenting many lectures throughout the year.
