Pratik Shah MD, MSc

Dr. Pratik Shah leads BSV’s Medical Affairs function. In his role, he is responsible for strengthening business and product strategies across India and international markets. During his tenure at BSV, Dr. Shah has been instrumental in building BSV’s Women’s Health portfolio through several successful medico-marketing initiatives. With his extensive experience in Pharmaceutical Medicine and Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, and Pharmacovigilance, he continues to shape medical strategies and build strong clinical, academic, and industry collaborations.

Before joining BSV, he served in leadership roles at Lupin, Astellas, and Johnson & Johnson and gained valuable experience across several therapy areas such as oncology, transplantation, and nephrology. A published author in peer-reviewed journals and he has been an invited speaker and moderator at numerous national and international medical and pharmaceutical conferences.

Dr. Shah holds an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College, Ireland, and an M.D. in Pharmacology from T.N. Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He also holds postgraduate diplomas in Pharmaceutical Management and Clinical Research & Trial Management.
