Prasad Musale MS, MDS, MLD

Dr. Prasad Krishnaji Musale graduated from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College & Hospital, Pune in 1994, and completed his Master in Dental Surgery (Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry) in 1999 from Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai. He also completed his Diploma & Master's in Laser Dentistry from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria in 2010. Currently, he is a Professor and Head at SMBT Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Nasik, and the director of “Little One's Big Smiles” Laser and Microscope Integrated Dentistry in India.

Musale research thrust areas are Pediatric Endodontics, Microscopic Pediatric Dentistry, Minimally Invasive Dentistry, and Laser-Assisted Pediatric Dentistry. On similar lines, he has been invited as faculty at various CDE programs nationally and internationally. Under the aegis of same he has published more than 25 scientific papers in peer-reviewed National and International journals. He has contributed to the Fifth edition of ‘Textbook of Pediatric Dentistry’ by Dr Damle SG, the Third edition of ‘Pediatric Dentistry’ by Dr. Shobha Tondo,n and an upcoming edition of ‘Pediatric Dentistry- Principles and Practice’ by Dr Muthu MS.

Musale has been recognized by various International Journals and honored as an Editorial Board Member for The Journal of Contemporary Dental Practice (JCDP) and the Journal of Investigative Dental Sciences (JIDS). He has been associated for years as a member of professional societies viz., Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD), South Asian Association of Pediatric Dentistry (SAAPD), International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD), and Society of Oral Laser Applications (SOLA) India.
