Dr.Iyer is a Gastroenterologist with a clinical and research interest in the epidemiology, early detection and endoscopic therapy of Barrett's esophagus and esophageal carcinoma. He also specializes in Endoscopic Ultrasound. In addition, he directs the post-doctoral programs of the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences.
