Pourya Pouryahya MD, FACEM, GC ClinEpid, MTrauma, CCPU

Pourya is an Emergency Medicine Consultant and Director of Emergency Medicine Research (DEMR) at Casey Hospital (Monash Health) and is a highly recognized adjunct lecturer at Monash University's Department of Medicine.

Pourya also serves as the Chair of Monash Health fellowship practice exam committee, Monash health Fellowship teaching coordinator and leads the Monash Emergency-Monash Health sepsis group and Monash Health Emergency department ultrasound group.

Pourya recently completed Newcastle University's Master of Traumatology program, and in his spare time serves on the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine's (ACEM) Victorian Board Faculty, a court of Examiners (COE), primary examination viva deputy chair, primary and fellowship exams standard setting panel and Best of Web Reference Group. He also acts as faculty on the annual Emirate Critical Care Congress (ECCC).
