Poonam Vohra MBBS, MD

Dr. Poonam Vohra is a pathologist specializing in cytopathology and breast pathology. She provides both general surgical pathology and cytology services, including performing fine needle aspiration. Vohra completed her medical degree as well as residences in pathology and transfusion medicine at the Government Medical College in Patiala, India, followed by post-doctoral research in cytopathology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India.

Vohra served as a neuropathology research assistant at UCSF before attending the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., for a residency in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology. Vorhra also completed a cytopathology fellowship at UCSF. Vohra is an assistant clinical professor of pathology at the UCSF School of Medicine.
