Piotr Radziszewski is a Polish urologist, and professor of medical sciences specializing in reconstructive urology, urological oncology, functional urology, urogynecology, and diseases of old age in men. Activity In 1994 he graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. In 1995 he obtained his doctorate in urological anatomy based on the thesis entitled "Innervation of the external urethral sphincter", and in 2007 he obtained the degree of habilitated doctor of medical sciences (urology). In 2011 he received the title of professor of medical sciences. Since 2004 a member of the board of the Functional and Female Urology Section of the European Association of Urology (EAU). In 2007 he became a member of the Committee for Guidelines in Urology (EAU) and the Scientific Committee of the Polish Association of Urology (PTU).
In 2008, he became a member of the board of the Urodynamic School of the International Continence Society (ICS) and a member of two committees of that institution: educational and neuro-urology. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the EAU. In the same year, he co-founded the Incontinence Research Society (ICI-RS), of which he is an active member. Since 2010, deputy director, and since 2012 director of the Department of General, Oncological and Functional Urology at the Medical University of Warsaw. Reviewer in numerous national and international journals (European Urology, Urogynecology, Urologia Internationalis, Videochirurgia, etc.). Member of the editorial boards of the journal Neurology and Urodynamics, Central European Journal of Urology, Archives of Medicalsciences, etc. Piotr Radziszewski is the author and co-author of over 250 articles, and several chapters in national and international textbooks.
