Dr. Galecki is an Author and co-author of over 300 publications, incl. combining issues of psychiatry and psychology. He is also the author of publications from the so-called between law and psychiatry. Originator and co-organizer of the International Congress of Forensic Psychiatry. Due to his professional duties, but also because of his personal beliefs, he is particularly interested in spreading knowledge about the observance of the rights of patients treated for mental disorders. It undertakes many activities aimed at counteracting stigmatization and social exclusion of patients.

In his clinical and research work, he strives to learn about the biological determinants of mental illnesses, mainly depressive disorders. Creator of an innovative, "neurodevelopmental theory of depression", integrating the existing approaches in understanding the etiology of this disease, which can be said without exaggeration as a "cold" of the modern world.

He has the honor of practicing psychiatry in one of the best therapeutic teams consisting of experienced psychiatrists and psychologists. People with many years of clinical and practical experience, supported by the latest scientific knowledge. The Department of Adult Psychiatry, Medical University of Lodz, is currently one of the most dynamic research centers dealing with psychiatry in Poland.
