Piotr Czauderna MD, PhD

Piotr Czauderna works as the Head of the Department of Surgery and Urology for Children and Youth at the Medical University of Gdansk. He is an associate professor at GUMED. In the years 2006-2008 Plenipotentiary of the Rector of the Medical University of Gdansk for the New University Hospital Program; 1996-2000 secretary of the Management Board of the Polish Association of Pediatric Surgeons, 2000-2003 secretary-general of PTChD, 2003-2009 chairman Ph.D. in Gdansk, from 2009 President-Elect of PTChD, from 2012 President of PTChD; since 2009, a representative of Poland and a member of the Board of the Pediatric Surgery Section of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), since 2011 the secretary of the above-mentioned section, voivodship consultant for pediatric surgery in the province. Pomeranian. 

He completed numerous internships at foreign pediatric surgery clinics, including 1991 - Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, USA), UCLA School of Medicine (Los Angeles, USA), John Hopkins Medical School (Baltimore, USA), and Stanford University ( USA), 1992 - internship at the Medizinische Hochschule in Hanover, 1996 - internship at the Orthopedics Clinic of the Academic Teaching Hospital (AKH) in Vienna, 1999 - internship at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh and the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of HELIOS Hospital in Berlin.
