Pieter J. Colin PharmD, PhD

Dr. Apr. Pieter Colin graduated as a pharmacist at Ghent University in 2008. After a 1 year period of working in the pharmaceutical industry, Pieter returned to Ghent University in 2009 to start his Ph.D. research. In 2014 he received his Ph.D. from the same university, with a thesis entitled: “Towards model-based dose optimization of antibiotic and anti-cancer treatment regimens in specific patient populations”.

Since October 2014, he has been combining his work as an associate professor position at the Department of Anesthesiology at the University Medical Center Groningen (The Netherlands) with a post-doctoral fellowship (10%) at UGent, department Bioanalysis.
