Pierre Tattevin MD

Pierre Tattevin, MD, PhD, is editor of the section ‘Microbiological and Clinical Studies Stewardship’. He is full professor in the department of Infectious Diseases & Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Rennes University Hospital, France, general secretary of the French Society of Infectious Diseases (Société de Pathologie Infectieuse de Langue Française, SPILF), and member of the MRSA and the Antimicrobial Stewardship groups of the International Society of Chemotherapy (ISC). His scientific interests include infective endocarditis, encephalitis, tuberculosis, Staphylococcus aureus, new antibacterial agents, and antimicrobial stewardship.
