Dr. Pierre Alexis Geoffroy is a University Lecturer-Hospital Practitioner (MCU-PH) at the University of Paris and the Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) within the Bichat – Claude-Bernard hospital in the department of psychiatry and addictology of Pr Lejoyeux. Doctor of Neuroscience, in the Inserm Unit U1141 NeoPhen team, with a research focus on biomarkers of sleep and biological rhythms in mood disorders. Co-Director of the GDR CNRS Sleep and head of the Psychiatry axis. Founder and Honorary President of the Association for the Teaching of Psychiatric Semiology (AESP). Member of the board of directors of the French Association of Biological Psychiatry and Neuropsychopharmacology (AFPBN), coordination of the Sleep and Psychiatry section (SoPsy), and member of the scientific committee of the French Society for Sleep Research and Medicine (SFRMS). Elected member of the National University College of Psychiatry (CNUP).
