Dr. Pierdanilo Sanna obtained his Degree and his Master Degree in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in Italy at the University of Sassari and Milan.In Italy he worked in different and relevant public Hospitals in Milan, Turin and Rome.He reached the UAE in 2015 working both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Strong in Traumatology, Sport Injuries and elective surgery with more than 2200 surgical treatments performed in his career. He has particular interests in Arthroscopic Knee and Shoulder procedures (ACL reconstruction, Meniscal torn and Cartilage defects repair / Impingement syndrome, Cuff tears, Shoulder instability, Frozen shoulder, etc). Also skilled in Joint Replacement (Knee-Hip-Shoulder) and he’s able to treat common hand injuries and diseases (Carpal tunnel, trigger finger, Dupuytren, De Quervain, tendon repair, etc.).
