Phillip Messersmith MS, PhD

Dr. Phillip B. Messersmith, MS, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley. His laboratory is interested in understanding structure-property relationships in biological materials and in using this information to design biologically inspired materials for use in healthcare. He completed his Master of Science at Clemson University and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
