Phillip A. Phelps LCSW, BCD, BA

Mr. Phil Phelps is the Director of the Behavioral Science Curriculum. He received his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Clinical Associate Professor with the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Family Medicine. Mr. Phelps is credentialed by the American Balint Society as a Balint group leader and supervisor. In addition to his teaching experience in family medicine with UPMC and in the post graduate family therapy program at the University of Pittsburgh, he has managed outpatient programs in developmental/behavioral pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. He has been practicing psychotherapy with adults, children and families for over 30 years.
