Philippe Y. Laberge MD, FRCSC, ACGE

Dr. Laberge has written several articles and given several practical workshops in endoscopic surgery since 1991 in Quebec as well as outside the province. He is a member of the Best Doctors Canada TM medical advisory committee. He was a member of various scientific committees of the AOGQ and the SOGC. He was president of the Association des obstétriciens et gynécologues du Québec from 2004 to 2006. He co-chaired the scientific committee of the annual congress of the SOGC in Quebec in 1996, in Montreal in 2000, and again in Quebec in 2005.
,br/> Dr. Laberge is also interested in continuing medical education: his interactive multimedia self-study program on ectopic pregnancy won him the first prize of the APOG in Toronto in 1995. Since 1993 he has been teaching as a teacher. Hands-on advanced laparoscopy workshops and conducted preceptorship in operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopic hysterectomy in Canada and Europe.

Finally, Dr. Laberge is actively involved in clinical research in gynecological endoscopy; he received the Robert B. Hunt Prize for Best Scientific Publication in the Journal of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists in 2003. He was Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Pan-Canadian Uterine Fibroids Study CAPTURE and Chairman of the 5th International Congress of the Society for Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SEUD) in Montreal in 2019.
