Dr. Philippe B. Macaire, MD, Ph.D. is a Director of Anaesthesiology and Pain Management at Vinmec Healthcare System. Before that, he was already recognized as a multinational expert; passionate about Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. Besides the 30 years of clinical activities, this book author, researcher, and speaker always strives to spread the knowledge of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine to all colleagues, which was the reason he first came to Vietnam – to be a lecturer of Regional Anaesthesia Course in Hanoi Medical University. In parallel, he is also the Co-Scientific Director of two prestigious international programs a Master's Degree in Regional Anesthesia and Analgesia and an Interventional Pain Medicine Diploma under the supervision of the University of Montpelier – one of the oldest Universities in the World and France – where he originally comes from; and others CME programs related to the topic.
