Philippe Collin is today a renowned orthopedic surgeon and specialist in shoulder pathologies. He has worked for more than 15 years at the Center Hospitalier Prive de Saint Gregoire in Brittany, and since 2018 at the Clinique Victor Hugo in Paris. With its associates, they receive and participate in the training of French and foreign surgeons and run a clinical research center specifically devoted to shoulder pathologies. Dr. Philippe Colin is the current Secretary General of the European Society for Shoulder Surgery (SECEC) and a corresponding member of the prestigious American Society for Shoulder Surgery (ASES). He was also president of the Société Française de l'Épaule (SoFEC). He has communicated his research throughout the world (8 communications to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery). In 2014, during the world congress of shoulder surgery in Japan, he received the prize for the best scientific communication. A prolific scientific author, he has written numerous book chapters and more than 80 scientific articles indexed on Pubmed.
