Dr Philipp Holliger works on evolutionary approaches to protein engineering and functional genomics within the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. His main interests are in vitro evolution and its application to protein engineering and functional genomics. In vitro selection methods are powerful tools for the investigation of protein and nucleic acid structure and function at the molecular level.
