Philip W. Harvey is a toxicologist specializing in adrenal toxicology and general endocrine toxicology (thyroid toxicology; hormonal carcinogenesis {eg mammary carcinogenesis; Leydig cell tumors}; inappropriate hormone secretion syndromes {eg ADH/vasopressin}; oestrogenic and antiandrogenic responses). Strong background in Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) and Neurobehavioural Toxicology.

He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Toxicology, author of 50+ peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and author/editor of 3 books:- "The Adrenal in Toxicology: Target Organ and Modulator of Toxicity" (Taylor & Francis); "Endocrine and Hormonal Toxicology" (Wiley); "Adrenal Toxicology" (Informa).

Emeritus Fellow of the US Academy of Toxicological Sciences (Fellow Emeritus ATS), Fellow of the UK Royal Society of Biology (FRSB), and Registered Toxicologist from 1994-2016 (ERT; UK Register, Retired).
