Philip Baker

Philip trained as a building engineer and worked as a civil and structural engineer for the first 15 years of his career. Since the introduction of the CDM Regulations Philip has been heavily involved in delivering PS/CDM-C services and supporting and training CDM duty holders. Philip is passionate about prevention through design and has spoken internationally on the subject.

Philip is Chair of the London Metropolitan Branch Area Construction Section, regularly attends CONIAC, is a member of the London Metropolitan Branch Committee and a Member of IOSH Council. Philip is also North West London Chair of the Working Well Together Group and Chair of the ISHCCO Certification Working Group developing standards for construction safety and health co-ordinators in Europe.
