Philip A. Villanueva MD, FAANS

Philip A. Villanueva is currently working as a Director and Professor at Temple University School of Medicine. Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Villanueva graduated with his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in neurological surgery and his fellowship in neurosurgical care at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), the doctor is board-certified in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serving the cause of public health.
