Dr. Petros Grivas, MD, PhD, FASCO, is a board-certified medical oncologist and Professor at UW Medicine and Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and former Clinical Director of UW Medicine's Genitourinary Cancers Program. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Fred Hutch International Program and of Local/Regional Outreach.
Dr. Grivas is an international expert and key opinion leader in genitourinary cancers with a focus on bladder cancer. He is dedicated to efficient, personalized, exceptional patient care and optimal patient-physician relationships.
Dr. Grivas earned his MD and PhD at the University of Patras in Greece; he is board-certified in Medical Oncology. He lectures internationally, pursues community outreach, educates trainees, leads clinical trials, and publishes novel research. He has had a main role in clinical trials leading to FDA approval of new drugs for bladder/urothelial cancer.
