Obrdlik is a Senior Fellow and Group Head of Bioanalytics at Novartis Pharma, R&D. He is heading three Labs in Early Phase Analytical Development at Novartis Pharma R&D, Development of bioanalytical assays for biologics (therapeutic proteins (non-IgG), fusion proteins, bispecifics, monoclonal Abs, cell & gene therapy). Development and GMP testing in Early Phase, Analytical Project Lead (CMC) - Design of analytical strategy for biologics.

He is Lab Head of Bioanalytics at Novartis Pharma, R&D, Analytics of therapeutic antibodies/biologics, GMP. ELISA assays, cell-based binding, and functional assays, qPCR, high molecular weight impurities. He served as Head of Assay Development, cell-free electrophysiology (SSM, SURFE2R), molecular pharmacology of membrane transport proteins and ion channels, pre-clinical R&D, project management, customer relations.
