Peter While PhD

Dr. Peter Thomas While, Ph.D. is a Researcher at the St. Olav's University Hospital. He applies advanced tools from applied mathematics for the methodological development of MRI system design, operation, and data processing. His research interests include MR physics, pulse sequencing, image reconstruction, post-processing techniques, and parameter estimation, especially within diffusion MRI, novel hardware design (gradients, shims, RF coils, microsystems), electromagnetic and thermodynamic modeling, and optimization of ultra-high field MRI.
