Peter Tormay PhD, MBA

Peter Tormay has a scientific background with a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Munich. He also has an MBA from Henley Management College. His professional career has been spanning nearly 30 years, moving from scientific research, to clinical development and now data analytics and data science. Prior to becoming an independent consultant focusing on data and data analytics, He worked as Director of Development for Helperby Therapeutics – a biopharmaceutical start-up at the time – where I gained a deep understanding of the key drivers in the clinical development process with a focus on study design, project management and outcome deliverables in the context of the overall strategic direction.

While working for Helperby, he also gained an insight into organizational strategy and financial management. It was during this period that he completed my MBA at Henley Management College. Throughout his career one thing was always evident, irrespective of whether it was within the field of science, organisational strategy or financial management – everything was determined by the underlying data. His main objective is therefore to support people to get the most from the underlying data.
