Peter Siersema MD, PhD

Professor Peter Siersema has been appointed Professor of Endoscopic Gastrointestinal Oncology at Radboud University / the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre on 1 February 2016.Peter SiersemaPeter Siersema’s research focusses on two types of cancer of the digestive tract: esophageal cancer and coloreactal cancer. Until his appointment in Nijmegen, he was professor and head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the University Medical Center Utrecht. At the Radboud University, Professor Siersema will focus on research on the detection and treatment of cancer in the gastrointestinal tract, particularly the esophagus and colon.
