Peter Mackinlay Yellowlees MBBS, MD

Peter Yellowlees MBBS, MD is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California Davis, Vice Chair for Faculty Development and Immediate Past President of the American Telemedicine Association. He specializes in the use of telepsychiatry and has an in-person psychiatric practice where he mainly treats physicians. His research on asynchronous telepsychiatry is currently funded with 4 federal and state grants and he has published over 200 scientific articles and 7 books.

He is an experienced media commentator and has worked as a video editor for Medscape since 2009 producing over 180 video editorials. He regularly teaches and consults in America and overseas and his last two books were published recently., "Telepsychiatry and Health Technologies - a guide for mental health professionals" was published in January 2018, and "Physician Suicide: Cases and Commentaries" was published in July 2018.
