Peter M. Penna PharmD

Penna is principal and co-founder of Formulary Resources, LLC. He has over 30 years’ experience in a variety of pharmacy settings, including hospital, retail, academia, and managed care.

Dr. Penna served as Vice President of Pharmacy at CIGNA HealthCare. He was responsible for all aspects of the pharmacy benefit for 8 million lives, including strategic planning, clinical programs, contracting, formulary processes, benefit design, mail service, etc. He served as a member of and chair of their Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee during this time, and directed the staff supporting the Committee.
