Peter J. Tonellato PhD, BS

Peter Tonellato received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona and currently divides his time between labs at DBMI/BWH Pathology and the University of Wisconsin School of Public Health. He was Founding Director of the Bioinformatics Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin and served as CEO and Founder of POINTONE Systems, a personalized medicine software company.

He received an NIH Eureka award to create ‘clinical avatars’ to simulate realistic patient populations, provide a collection of electronic medical records used to test the efficacy of genetic data, quantify the accuracy of predictive algorithms and conduct clinical trial simulations using sophisticated translational software systems.
