Peter Herscovitch MD, FACP, FRCPC, FSNMMI

Dr. Herscovitch earned his bachelor degree in electrical engineering and medical degree from McGill University. He then completed a residency in neurology at the Montreal Neurological Institute, followed by a fellowship in PET at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo., as a fellow of the Medical Research Council of Canada. He was subsequently a member of the departments of neurology and radiology at Washington University. He has been at the National Institutes of Health since 1987. He is currently director of the Positron Emission Tomography Department at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, Bethesda, MD.
