Peter Hao-hsiang Pan MD, MSEE

Peter Hao-Hsiang Pan has been on the faculty at Wake Forest School of Medicine for about 19 years. Peter Hao-Hsiang Pan is an attending anesthesiologist specializing in obstetrical and gynecology anesthesia. In addition, his areas of research interest are techniques for acute labor pain management, chronic & persistent pain after delivery, novel analgesic agents, and algorithms and smart devices for predicting analgesic needs. Before attending medical school, Peter Hao-Hsiang Pan's training was in electrical and biomedical engineering which keeps his interest in novel technological applications in medicine.
