Peter Fisher is Clinical Director and Director of Research at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, Europe’s largest centre for integrative medicine. He is also Physician to Her Majesty The Queen. He was previously Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist at King's College Hospital.

He is a graduate of Cambridge University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and of the Faculty of Homeopathy. Accredited as a specialist in both homeopathy and rheumatology, he has published many papers on research in homeopathy and other forms of complementary and alternative medicine.

Dr Fisher chaired the World Health Organisation’s working group on homeopathy and is a member of WHO’s Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional and Complementary Medicine. He is Editor-in-Chief of Homeopathy, published by Elsevier, the only journal dedicated to homeopathy indexed in Medline (www.sciencedirect.com/homp). He is also Clinical Lead of the UK’s National Library for Health’s online Complementary and Alternative Medicine Specialist Library, the NHS's official knowledge website for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (www.library.nhs.uk/cam), and of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Library and Information Service (CAMLIS, www.cam.nhs.uk). He was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Gold Medal of the Polish Academy of Medicine in 2007.
