Peter F. Sharkey MD

Dr. Sharkey is an internationally recognized expert and leader in the field of hip and knee replacement. He is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Chairman for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Riddle Hospital in Media, PA, and a member of the prestigious Hip and Knee Societies.

Visiting orthopedic surgeons and implant engineers routinely meet with and observe Dr. Sharkey’s innovations in surgical technique and patented implant and instrument designs. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. His research has led to hundreds of publications that have strongly influenced the practice of orthopedic surgery.
