Professor Peter F. Hoyer underwent postgraduate training at Children’s Hospital, Medical School Hannover specialized training in neonatology, pediatric nephrology and transplantation, In 1988 habilitation in Pediatrics and 1992 Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Medical School Hannover. Currently he is Director and Chair, Pediatric Nephrology, and Managing Director, University Children´s Hospital Essen. Main areas of research: pediatric transplantation, nephrotic syndrome, immunosuppression, He authored and coauthored more than 300 publications.
