Peter Reist Eby MD, FACR, FSBI

Peter R. Eby, MD, FACR, FSBI, completed his undergraduate degree with Honors in Biological Anthropology at the University of Washington and received his MD from Vanderbilt University. He completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowships in Emergency Radiology and Breast Imaging at the University of Washington.

Dr. Eby has lectured internationally and published research on breast MRI, mammography and image-guided breast procedures. He has served as the Chair of the ACR Screening and Emerging Technology Committee and the Chair of the Audit section of the BI-RADS manual.

He is the Associate Vice-Chair of Community Health and Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania and the Immediate Past President of the Society of Breast Imaging. He has received the Gold Medal from the Washington State Radiological Society and multiple teaching awards. He believes happiness and success, by any measure, are achievable through studying and working in a field you enjoy.
