Peter Donndorf MD, PhD

Dr. Peter Donndorf is a resident at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Rostock. He is also an assistant doctor in the clinic and polyclinic for heart surgery in Rostock and an investigator for the phase III clinical study at the RTC. He studied medicine at the University of Rostock and received his doctor's degree at the Department of Cardiac Surgery in Rostock. He did his clinical training at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kuopio in Finland and in Switzerland: Here he worked at the Department of Surgery at the Hospital St. Gallen and the Swiss Cardiovascular Center in Bern. In 2009 Peter Donndorf came back to Rostock to start his specialist training as a cardiac surgeon.
